July is the month most people associate with sailing. The weather’s warm and there’s little wind. But we enjoy sailing all year round, except for periods in winter when the ice is too thick.
The archipelago is the place to witness the magnificent spectacle of the changing colours of the seasons.
In the August-June sailing season, the archipelago offers a rich array of sights and sounds: light-green buds and newly hatched birds’ eggs to the autumnal cascade of yellows and reds and white-tailed eagles. Take in the crisp whiteness of the archipelago in winter with a warming glass of Swedish glögg. Our boats are large, comfortable and have warm cabins. To help keep us warm in the winter months we provide flotation suits for all our guests. All you need to bring are gloves and warm shoes.
